There's a confusion in the air. The pre 6:00 am light diffusing the living room as the days get longer (?) or at the least the mornings are coming in earlier. Brighter. Alive-ier. To be clear. I don't like it. Sunrise shatters the quiet and ushers in the day, whether I want it to or not.
I love the mornings and the darker the better. There's a power to finishing a whole activity while the world sleeps. Free time. Me time. It feels like I'm robbing from real life and that is satisfying.
This morning it's 5:53 a.m. and it's already mostly light out. I fight off the calling emails and to do list, pour some coffee, and now I'm telling you about it.
